Gear indicator on a ZXR750?

Postby JimZXR » Fri Aug 03, 2012 9:33 pm

I'm looking for a gear indicator for a 93 ZXR750 but am having difficulty as most companies only supply for much more modern bikes!

It's for my track bike as I have a habit of going down too many gears when I forget where I already am in the box and since this is a new bike to me I'll need all the help I can get!

Cheers

Here's one Jim. I can't say that I have used it on my track bikes but it seems easy enough to install.

I ran one of the universal ones on the Mutant and it was far too slow to be useful - by the time it worked out what gear you were in you well and truly knew already ;) Count 'em down Jim.

Does the ZXR have a slipper clutch?

Actually, they apparently do. I never "activated" mine but it's apparently do-able.

It's one of my favourite sites too, it certainly helped me set up my bikes with a slipper clutch and a few ideas for other mods.
