not only are there a lot of chicks on this forum who do their own mechanical work but race as well - they don't make assumptions like that and they don't just barge on to a new forum and then get the shits when given some honest advice based on your question in your very first post.

You know, if you had bothered to spend a couple of minutes introducing yourself in the *Introductions* thread in the first place - and added some info about your riding history, preparing race engines ( by the way that actually means SFA. Some people prepare race engines - some prepare them to win. There is a f'n world of difference), then maybe the rest of us in here would actually have understood a bit more about you and answered your original question differently.
