Front Tyre wear

Has anyone seen this before.

Alot of wear on the right side.
The tyre is a Pilot Rd 3.

you sure the front wheel is sitting in straight. Strange as it sounds, it can happen. Loosening the front axle and bouncing the bike (with the help of a front stand) should make sure it is sitting true.

Other than that it could be a manufacturing defect

It just looks like someone who has left the tyre on for too long....that tyre was farked thousands of klms before now by the look of it. In Oz a tyre will always wear more on that side due to normal road camber. When doing long straight roads, this is normal.

Anterior to posterior shooting object position is explained by oppositional direction.

If we used the way you shot to (rear of front caliper) mark location amputations you would be missing the wrong limb.

Anywho, i think strika is on the money.

If you look at the brake calipers it shows the perspective in which the photo was taken.

Yep, i think hes right too. I have a long commute on straight roads.

Although it didnt happen as bad on the Pilot Rd 2 i had on previously.

And yes i do tend to stretch my tires to the death.

Arrow is facing up, this pic is taken from behind the front wheel mate.
Up is the correct direction

Extensive studies in the US have proven that camber has NO effect on tyre wear, reason for greater right hand side wear here is simple, right hand corners/bends have a longer radius therefore you actually travel further, left handies are shorter thus less wear, of course opposite in the US. Methinks that poor tyre is just well past it's use by date,lol

Are our roads designed the same as seppo roads?

Our roads are very cambered.

Also roundabouts go right too
