Intro

Postby Lurch » Sun Sep 18, 2011 1:47 pm

It just occured to me that I never actually posted up an intro here. I even just went thru all my posts to make sure ;)

So I'm Jason, Lurch to most.
I've had my GPz 750 (Goose) for about 6 years. Goose is my pride and joy. I've also had a ZZR1200 for a while.
As well as Goose, in my garage is a 2006 M109r, a 1980 Suzuki A100, and what's left of my 1999 CBR900rr.
When I say 'whats left of', 2 weeks ago I had an oncoming Subaru Outback make a right-hand turn in front of me. Wrote off the CBR, wrote off the Subaru! I ended up with a broken hand, a fk'd shoulder and covered in bruises and scratches. It'll be a couple of months before I'm back on 2 wheels.

Anyways, I'm also the guy who runs CanberraRIDERS and when I'm not feeling too lazy, RetroRIDER as well.

Why posting now? Well, there is a pretty good chance that the CBR's replacement will be of the green-blooded variety.

Cheers,
Lurch

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I got what I wanted from the insurance - so happy with that.
Also there is a plan in place for this Sunday to pick up the new steed. It's red, but the heart is green :kuda:
