apparently my date of birth changed between me lodging my tax online last year and this year, and because I worked there it cant be fixed over the phone, someone with a higher security clearance will call me back in 24 hrs (tax office speak for next week sometime) .

my rant -

I changed jobs, $%*ed my already crook back to the point I couldnt walk. Had lots of time off & lots of morphine based pain relief. Job cuts me loose due to poor attendance (no suprises) Just get to be walking & spend a week in hospital & a week in bed recovering from a perforated intestine, which cost me a new job as I was supposed to start the week I was admitted. When will it end??!!!

oh yes, a certain previous employer sends all their dangerous goods (like batteries and oils) in the post this way. When you sign it, it magically makes them less dangerous, didny you know ?

that's exactly right.
recently i had to close follow another car in our car in a Eastern Suburbs shopping centre to be able to get out and avoid the boomgate, fortunately Joy wasn't with me

Needed some irrigation gear on Saturday, so I went to buy some.

Needless to say, the irrigation specialist, who no doubt could have helped me out was closed, since their business hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

The same people, if you asked them how business was? would say it's hard or slow or working harder for the $s than last year etc...

Well, my answer to all of these operators is that if they're dumb enough to hand their market share to Bunnings and alike, due to running their businesses like a hobby shop or a little side line, they deserve to go backwards.

Any business owner who has a shopfront in 2011, pays rent, insurance, security etc ..... and aren't open 7 days a week and haven't got an online side established, is half committed and their success or the lack of it is reflective of that.

SAI Global have been handling/selling Australian Standards for years, there's nothing new about it. Luckily for me all the Aus standards I deal with are free for download under an agreement....but I don't think HL7 v2.4 or CDA standards will be much use to you
