They work good,i found i smoked twice as many in the 2 weeks prior to stopping i dont know if it was the champix or the thought of giving up.Also found i had weird dreams every night but that was enjoyable once use to them.People also recon they got sick in the guts from them but i found having food fixed that problem,keep with the tablets they work great if you overcome the side affects good luck

Funny phenomenon that, when i see Iam almost out of smokes I smoke more.

I have successfully quit using champix a few years ago, then life turned to shite in a few big ways so I smoked again.

Pick up champix today so here goes..

Congratulations to everyone, especially Richo for inspiring us all!! ;o)

Now that it's coming up to a year.. i have:

1. Not smoked
2. Managed to not only lose the gained weight... But get back to a weight of 11 years ago.
3. Managed to run consistently 12 k's a day once a week without dying for last 5 months when prebiously just walking up a hill was a chore

..
so there are rewards to be had! and I am loving being able to breath!



... on the downside.. I turned into one of those people repulsed by stale cigarette smell.. let alone being around a lit cig

So far wanted a smoke 4 times and resisted and it passed, off to the shops to get carrots and healthy stuff to munch on.

Good luck Jonno, but you might need to give up the drink as well.
Once you have a couple of drinks you will crave for a smoke.

The boozing hasn't worried me about smoking , tend to drink/guzzle more without the smokes My brother is quite the opposite , can't have one without the other .

yep youll go through that rabbit stage i am still knawing at that type of food like celery,carrots,and tiny tomatoes not bad after a while and helps keep the weight off but like anything you get sick of it
