Slipper Clutch for 2005 ZX10

Postby ninja10black » Sat Apr 23, 2011 2:09 pm

Hi everyone,

I've just started to look around for a slipper clutch for my hubbys 2005 zx10r, the STM is the one thats mentioned the most that I've found so far. Any thoughts on that brand?

Any help with how you all have gone with looking/buying/installing one? which is better and where best place to buy one?

Thanks

Kylie

They have one standard. You don't need to buy one. :)

if he doesn't believe he has one, get up to around 100km/h drop it all the way back to 1st and pull the clutch in.

While coasting atabout 100, and in 1st gear with clutch in, drop the clutch.

take note the bike wiont lock up and chatter it will just wiggle a little and smoothly slow down.

i dont recommend trying that with a non slipper equiped bike.

kawasaki calls it "backwards torque limiting clutch"
