ZX6R dyno charts - Mods comparison

Postby Salty » Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:14 am

Got the bike serviced the other day (2009) and had it on the dyno out of interest as I have the growler rear can. Wanted to make sure AFR was all good.
Ended up with 111 at the wheels which was a pretty good result and good AFR except for a small lean at 4k. I'll post the chart - thought this thread could be a 6R dyno chart comparison with different mods, so people get an idea of what mod pays off for power increases.

Good idea. Where's Tim, he's got some good stuff on his 08 with full system.

Disco and I ran our bikes together at a Dynomania Dyno Day.

Mine is the dark graphs - 2008 ZX6R with Full Akra System and PC3
Disco's is light graphs - 2007 ZX6R with 2 Bros Slip on and 2 Bros Juice Box Fuel Controller

115 and 110 respectively, the main differences between 6000-9000 and above 12,000.

111RWHP sound about right a GSXR 750 2006 model has 130ish and zx10's have 155 to 170 depending on dyno. Still plenty of power.

Indeed I do :) Got a K&N FIlter going in next week too, will be interesting to do another sometime and see if there's a difference, I doubt it. :)

Maybe change the topic to something like "ZX6R Mods and Dyno Discussion" or something?

If I ever receive my Bazzaz (46 days and counting) I'll get it mapped and dynoed with a full Leo Vince and post results. It'd be cool if ppl could post the before and after results instead of just the after... those number don't mean much when they're by themselves.

That they dont work that well. Well at least thats his expert opinion ;)

Me, on the other hand tends to believe that they do and dyno professionals such as MotoGarage are starting to be very nervous. However this guys attitude may put him out of business alittle quicker than the technology itself
