In a tracky I'd probably run full synth ie 7100 but if your changing it regularly it probably doesn't matter. When the Crim played up changing without the clutch was better, still played up though. I can't see that oil (no matter how old, given that oils these days are so good) could make much difference. Maybe it would mask a deeper problem. Good thing is the six is a cassette box.
