:kuda: Buy both, put one on each side and see which way you slip under braking. Then you can tell us which is best!

Same, just put mine on the other day and gave the 2 smaller pieces to a friend. He tried it on his Blade '09 and it fit really well!

Just one thing I forgot to say and that I haven't seen anyone else comment on... I had the stomp on my previous bike and it wasn't black version so I could see ALL the bubbles trapped inside. My solution was to poke them with a needle and push the air out. Worked a treat.

On the Techspech you obviously can't see any air trapped but to be honest I think it sticks better to the tank so there might be less of it too.

With the sides and tank protector bir its a good functional alternative to a gcc cover..

Ive used both, they both work great but the tech spec looks better and doesn't rough up your leathers like the stompgrip

Tech spec or stomp grip?

Postby Blurr » Mon Aug 08, 2011 10:56 pm

Really? I found it was the opposite.

Whilst the tankgrip looked the part it tore my leathers where the stomp grip on the 6r hasn't.

None of them roughed my leathers and I had them both... but IMO the techspec looks better and it doesn't 'move' when the bike is really hot. Also my stompgrips let go after a while... started peeling from one of the corners and next thing I knew that whole thing was useless. And yes, I did clean the tank and followed ALL the instructions and tips I could find. Hair dryer and whatnot...
