Hi all, long time no hear hey. Heard about sponser probs. Well saw GC Kawa, and they will still give 10-15% dis to ksrc. If u tell em who u are they will give u a GC Kawa key ring that represents the dis, so u dont have to wear a shirt or tell em every time, as some of u have got. But as many of the Qld chapter r from Bris, Im workin on Whalers, as they r the same owners to GC Kawa, just a dickhead manager. But if u see Chris in sales at Whalers, he knows who we are and im sure hell sort some thing for u. He was working at GCKawa, and is a very nice guy as some of u know from meeting him on a ride.
But as many of u have said, if ya gonna spend money at a bike shop, its not hard to get a dis if u ask. If they dont wanna come to the party, go some where else. Theyll soon change there mind.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Sean

I would have to agree with Ian,
As much as it was a great idea at first i think that this is simply a one way relationship. Even though i walked into the shop with my official KSRC shirt on, It came down to their staff not knowing what or who KSRC was. No one there is a member of this elite forum.. And im not sure i would like that after a few of my latest post with Parra kwakka. I do however like going there only because they are friendly when your buying something. As i found out form the salesman(david burkely) when i bought the zx9, he said he gets paid no commision on selling stuff. When i rang recently he remembered me, my address and my model from nearly 2 years ago... thats impressive (sure he probably has it on a database).
But the members dont seem to get anything consistent with the sponsors. But im willing to put my hand up to be the parramatta KSRC guy to sought things out and make sure that they do the discount. Let me know
