How would i flush old fuel from the fuel pump without running it through the injectors 2006 ZX6R?

undo the line out of the bottom of the tank and turn your key on.

From the tank yeah easy done but i want to get the stale fuel out of the fuel pump?
This is the new ZX6R has been sitting around for 18months or so with a full tank of gas...

the fuel oump is in the bottom of the tank. so undo the line and turn the key.
