zx6r (96) frame damaged, what other models are the same?

hi guys,
Im picking up a 1996 zx6r tomorrow. it has a severely damaged frame. does anyone know what other models would be the same to suit my engine, swingarm etc?

and would anyone know where I can get a frame from at a reasonable price?

any help greatly appreciated!

95 or 96 ZX6R is probably your only go unfortunately mate

95-97 is the same.. 98-02 is the same. A bike wreckers or eBay maybe.. If the frame is damaged then I would say more is damaged

I think Metropolitan in Silverwater may have one or two?

there was a guy in brissy that was selling some forks off a 98 model i want them but i can afford them quite yet and they r selling quite cheap too

I have a spare frame. It's painted black. I bought it off another member in here a few years ago as a spare for my race bike, but haven't used it. It needs to be popped in a jig to check it is straight and it has no compliance plate or numbers. But you could transfer the plate and numbers from your old frame. I really don't know how much I paid for it and not sure what it's worth. make me an offer and I will think about it. I wasn't going to sell it, but as you seem to be struggling to find one and I'm not likely to use it in the near future, I'll consider it.
