Pix from Charlotte Pass 24 April

Postby swabio-ACT » Mon Apr 25, 2005 12:07 pm

Hey there,

Thought I would post a couple, well a few ;) pix from my trip to Charlotte Pass yesterday. They were all taken on a Nikon D100 by one of my mates ( http://www.macattack.com.au) Although we got there a bit late in the afternoon to get some really good ones! Forgot how early the sun goes down in the Mountains! Oh well it was a good Recce for next time!

Hmmm when I become 'At one with the force' I will give it a crack! Or is that I would only do it if I was on crack :?

Nice bit of work mate, good mono too.

As one 05-636 rider to another, how are the chicken strips going on the front? got rid of the rears on day 1 but tried as hard as I can (not that hard really)and I cant get rid of the the front ones, I mean given the tyre radius you'd have to have the bike cranked over a hell of a long way.

Oh and what are those pole things in the back ground?

Same here, Rear has none, but I am not game enough to get it cranked right over to lose the front strips.

And yep, those poles are so you can identify the roads edge in the snow. Same reason for the yellow lines, contrast against the snow ;) :)

I cheated though, I towed the bike up to Perisher then unloaded. I wanted to unload at jindy, but had to drive the photographer up ;) oh well it also saved me a whopping $6 for park entry, the lady was kind enough to let me in on my car season pass. :)
