K&N Air Filter

Postby MrWasabi » Fri Nov 12, 2010 5:40 pm

So one of the best pressies i got for my birthday was an MCAS voucher :kuda: Looking through their webpage i saw a K&N air filter for my bike, so questions are, should i bother? is it worth it?

My last bike had one fitted when i bought it, and when i bought my tracky (which was the same) it didnt, and i really didnt notice any measurable difference.
Apart from adding another bullet point to my specs come time to sell the bike, will it add any value? Should i bother with this or just find some other noticeable bling?

It is worth it for economical value and that's about it. Paper ones that you change each service cost just about as much where the K&N filters are cleanable.

They do farm all for performance or resale. If your due for a service get one but if not get some bling. ;)

Only get it if you are willing to clean & re oil it, they will last a long time but you have to put in the effort ;)
I couldn't be bothered so I use paper ones on the current bikes.
