Hi from WA

Postby AndrewZX » Sun Nov 07, 2010 6:35 pm

Hi,

Newbie here from WA and I ride a 2010 ZX10R. It has few mods and I only ride on the track. I have a couple other bikes but they are not Kwaka's. The ZX is my first Kwaka which I have had since the start of the year and love to ride it even though it trys to kick me off almost every corner. A few mates and I recently drove to Phillip Island to do some tracks days. What an awsome track and cant wait to go back, even though I came off breaking my collar bone in a few places. In for surgery tomorrow to get it plated, bike ok though just need a new screen at this stage.

Cheers.

Welcome Andrew. Long way to go for a track day but once you get bitten...

Good luck with the surgery. :kuda:

Thanks for the welcome. Shoulder should be fine in about 6 weeks. Miss out on the last racing for the year, Kings of Wanaroo which I am disappointed about. Yeah it was a bit of a trip to Phillip Island but it was well worth it. We borrowed another mates F250 with the bikes in the enclosed trailer and it was fairly easy. enough room in the back even for someone 6 foot to sleep. We made the trip worthwhile also by booking into four straight days of riding. Californian Superbike School levels 1 and 2 on the Sat and Sun then ride days Mon and Tues. Weather wasnt the best with the most rain in 35 years apparently. The Sat was bad enough to be called off in the arvo.
