Thermostat #

Anyone got the part number for the thermostat that opens and closed to let more fluid through? Left my bloody manual at my old place and don't have time to go get it, and, obviously, bike is off road till it gets fixed.

Anyway, see I went to Whales a while ago and got them to order me one, and the young fella behind the counter didn't really seem to know what he was doin, or the older chap that helped him. So they ended up ordering me part# 21176-1054 which that first link lists as "Sensor, Water".

So ummm, well to be honest I don't know shit when it comes to this sorta thing, so can anyone confirm this is the part im lookin for or not?

Just checked the entire list, 49054 "thermostat", looks more like what i'm after........ GRRRRRRR

7 R model but what year?

The part you got ordered is the water sensor sender for the guage.
What you are asking for is a thermostat that goes into the water cooling housing right?

1987 to 1995 7R
#49054-1051 THERMOSTAT
