Ok im Gareth, a 30yo bloke from south east melb, Im a fitter/machinst by trade. Im a keen rider, I have a thing for kwakas & trumpets. I got my first roadie about 2 years ago a Zr7 my baby. It was stolen from my front door about 4 months ago now. I was so pissed off I plastered postsers of my stolen bike around the local area. After two weeks and still no bike. I went and got another zr7. After going through the crap of getting another bike regd & roadie. I figured my as well cancell the reg on the stolen bike to find out it wasent even listed as stolen on the vicroads system. Again i was pissed off so i went back to the local cop shop to give them a spray, now for the funny part, I explained my situation to the copper at the front desk she comes back & says it was recovered a week after i reported it
So again pissed off I was in shock to why they forgot to inform me that my bike was recovered considering I spent another $5000 on another bike i dident need. Her reply was just sell one. So I was given the name of the towing joint who had my bike, so i give them a call I have never in my life been spoken to in the manner this bitch spoke to me. The best part was the bill $2000 for storage of my stolen bike, So now the blood is boiling at this point with this mole who coudent give a rats arse about my situation. I told her nicely my solicitor would be in touch. If you think im paying $2000 grand to reclaim my property your out of your friggin mind farken. I got back in touch with the local police & had them get the bill dropped to $300 the towing fee, they were very embarassed about the situation at hand. I guess all's well that ends well. I just want you too know it's gut wrenching to find your bike gone ( chain it up ) lock the fuck out of it because some low life scum out there only needs the opurtunity to take it. And the cops said cos i put posters everywhere that was the reason it was dumped in the local area. Im Still in the process of fixing the minor damage. LOCK it or LOOSE it. Trust me it's a major head fuck. Gazza308
