I cannot tell you if there is a difference between e-bay pads and OEM kawasaki pads as I do not know what is available on e-bay. There is, however a great difference in quality pads and pads made of cheap shit. Quality pads will work in the wet without a problem, they will not overheat if used in a panic stop, they will have a fairly good life span and not be noisy or cause vibration. Whereas shit pads made of cheap shit materials, (such as recomposed cow shit or human defication) will cause a lot of problems, (the opposite of the above). If you are happy with the performance of your OEM pads I would stick with them, why take a chance with something as trivial as stopping your moto when needed? When you replace the old pads take the time to take off your rotors and rough them up in a circular motion with 400 grit sandpaper until the glaze is completely gone. This will help the new, (hopefully quality) pads seat properly. Like a new tire give them about a 500 mile breakin period to allow them to seat and to avoid glazing of the pads. There are quality aftermarket pads available but e-bay is not where I would buy them. Remember you get what you pay for. Kind of like comparing Ten High whisky with Jim Beam, you get the same affect but you wish you would have stopped sooner.
