So i've been trolling Fleabay whilst at work tonight tool hunting cos my ratshit toolset has 2 broken ratchets, so figure i'll bite the bullet and buy some Sidchrome or similar, enough of the fucking around with the cheap crap, not worth the hassle, whilst trolling I found a really special set that are " REGION 4 PAL " so if I really want a good look at em they should work in my DVD player :D

You can have all the gear in the world, but getting time to do any sort of major work is my biggest problem :)

Big hammer and a packet of condoms.

If you can't fix it FARK IT :D

I get everthing I will need, gathered it over the years, used to be a boat designer builder in my previous years, so my kind boss used to purchase all these useful tools on my company credit card and then when I left for Au he couldn't find em :?

Yep, only thing I would like to pick up is a rattle gun, not very often you need one but when you haven't got one.....

If I haven't got anything I'm sure a local Windsor Downs workshop will have it ;) :kuda:

As Snorky though, time is the biggest problem, it's been great having 3 months with no license, I have got shit loads done.
Great thread.

I have heaps of assorted tools, all centred around what is nesceaary to rip aparet a bike when needbe, but i don't do major things like valve clearance or rebuilds anymore.

I tend to have all the tools i would need if i was on the road and they were stored under my seat.

The most valuable tools have always been:

multimeter, butane soldering iron, and wire strippers.

(Yes, I love electrical faults)

and if you don't have a centrestand on the bike, a decent stand comes in handy!
