Riding the Rex today put a big smile on my dial!!

Yeah, it's old technology, conventional forks, steel frame, twin shocks, old spec brakes, old school instrumentation and it isn't the prettiest bike I've ever owned. Yet, it remains the best bike I have ever owned!!

It goes.....stops......and especially turns........all in comfort!!

When I've got some money, I think I'll buy another one!! Oh...and for the record, mine has the following modifications....1.KSRC Sticker on ducktail, 2. Mount on handlebar for phone/GPS, 3. Tinted screen, Pannier mounts. As you can see, I chose my mods carefully to improve performance and handling!!!
everytime I ride it though, it puts a smile on my face. I ride it across the flat, straight boring stuff in comfort getting to the twisties, then once there, it turns into a corner carving monster, carrying awesome entry speed and grunting off the turns like a good fucker!

It steers like a sports bike, leans over further than I can and is just a giggle to ride fast on the road. I can imagine it might be a bit of a handfull at the track in stock form, but I never ride it on the track, so it's of no concern to me. Although...Imagine how good it would be if it were set up properly!!!

Phil...calling Phil!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
