zx9r b oil leak

Postby oldmate » Mon Dec 21, 2009 8:45 pm

ok as the title says i have an oil leak from the 9 motor. From what i can see i think its coming out of the counter shaft seal as its all over the back of the engine and running down the swingarm [not cool] So my question is can i get to it without a major problem as this will be something i will attempt at home. Are there any hidden traps for young players. btw its a B engine thanks

There was a complete engine on ebay recently for about $500...

Thanks for the pic mate but it turned out to be a shitty o ring around the starter motor. i found this after changing the 3 seals in the counter shaft cover and the gasket, so after i put it all back together to have it still leek i was not a happy camper but its all good now. So bring on the rides hello2.gif
