No-one's mentioned Nitros yet. I've heard it can be done fairly cheaply :?:

It would seriously limit the life of the engine, but then so will the turbo. Not only that, but it can be rigged on a buttom and only used when u really need it

Perhaps do both....on the 6 :P

Turbo and nitros, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Why not a twin turbo? One tiny one bolted to each pot. But then again the NOS is a good idea. A huge turbo for 30 psi plus boost and a 20 shot of NOS to get you up to 10k so you the turbo actually spools up.

The turbo option is the go.

Was a bloke in VIC who turboed his rgv250, he ended up with 139bhp at the wheel.
not bad for a bike that weighs the same....
pitty it was a spewsuki tho.

I thought about turboing my ZX2R and contacted a place in Penrith NSW about. They said no worries mate that'll be $10k. They did mention that they got a 250 twin (can't remember the exact bike) to put out 90+ at the wheel. They also turboed a Yamahahaha Raptor (660 quad) for a guy that I know. It went like nothing else but every time he took it out it shat something. Bikes, like cars, are only designed to make so much power, after that cross your fingers or rob a bank.
19,500 before the cut out. Can you hear me SCREEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!!!

I've done a few things to my ZZR250  . See ZZR250 @ trackdays. Thats only some of it. I've also altered my gearing, had the carbs dyno'd, etc. Most of the work is by me. The costs have been minimal. PM me for details if you're keen for specs.
