Introducing "The Pirate" Mark II

Postby tim » Sun Oct 04, 2009 7:45 pm

To top off my worst week in living memory(won't go into detail) , this morning Medina (our daughter) poked me in the eye with her razor sharp nail.

Pretty severe discomfort and blurry vision had me off to the doctors for a diagnosis of abrasion to the eye and directions to apply cream to stop infection, and keep my eyes closed, rest and take time off work.

Plus, I asked for a second diagnosis of my back pain after the "new tyre incident", because the shoulder's getting better but the back not, said it sounds like the beginning of disc problems, and to strengthen my back and STOP all lifting completely!

That's one of my jobs - warehouse work :?

The best thing about all of this is I get to wear an eye patch and walk around going "ARRRRGGGG" :D

You need to be on a CBR600-arrgh-arrgh with that thing!!

Seriously though - hope it's going to be ok. Bad luck about the week you've had :(

I have a fantastic physio if you're looking for one. She's great with 'motorcyclists' - very symathetic to the 'cause' and has helped me with strengthening some pretty severe back/shoulder/neck issues. She's at Parramatta at the Bone and Joint Clinic (Susan Rhia).

Hope your feeling better soon ;)

What's with the CBR?

I'll see how it goes with the in-house physio the doctor got me in with, said they can help with some sort of medicare rebate - sounds good to me.

Yeah man that was bad it hurt so much and my vision got a lot worse after that..... I only got 3 rows down on the vision chart before I had no idea. :?
