Thailand holiday December 2009

Postby Strika » Fri Oct 02, 2009 8:38 pm

My little brother is finally tying the knot. He lives in Beijing, so has decided that it's pretty central for his overseas friends, Aussie family and Chinese family (he's marrying a chinese girl) to all meet up in thailand and get married there. He's holding the wedding in Koh Samui.

We (Tatyana is coming with me.) are flying to Bangkok on the 6th of Dec and onto Koh Samui pretty much straight away. the wedding is the 7th and he and his new wife (Coco) are staying in Koh Samui till the 9th. We are then hopping onto a domestic flight over to Phuket until the 13th, then doing an overnight stopover in Bangkok for one night. The plan being shopping and seeing the girls who shoot Ping Pong balls out of their Pussies. (to quote Tatyana verbatim!!!)

I was in Phuket a couple of years ago and loved it. That was the trip where I had to push my ex around in a wheelchair for the entire time. So this time we are going to enjoy ourselves a bit more.

If anyone has done Koh Samui before, I'd love some hints on what to do and see! 8)

Most people I know who go to Thailand don't go with their partners or are single but it sounds like you may have your hands full anyway ;)
Vietnam I can help you with, Thailand I can't.
Good luck and enjoy yourselves! :kuda:

I have done ko samui twice.its pretty small and i liked it better than phuket. In fact a ladie who owned a bar there wanted me to stay there and live with her and help run the bar ;) I spent 4 weeks there.Theres pretty much drinking, sleeping eating shitting and rooting and fanging around on small bike. There was a small bar at the top of the island that had music jam sessions which being a drummer i spent a fair bit of time there as i got free drinks in the end.You will love it and then wonder why do we have to leave to go to phuket
