This is not a dig but a geniune question, what is it that you guys love so much about this bike say over a nine or 10 etc, like is it handling? power? just curious with stats. :kuda:

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

I love this bike. SO much so i have one. lol sitting in pieces at the moment but starting to back together.

Why do i love this bike.
Well i was hunting around for either a zx6r or zx9r, when i came across the 7. Seen Joes and loved it. Oh yeah why umm, its a pure gp bike. last of the true race motogp bikes brought to the road. All the rest i think are now prototypes. the riders seat is low so easier to get the knee down {NOT MY WORDS! lol one of the guys at kelens told me lol} the agressive front is just pure sexy hahaha. and the sound of these beauties.

love the 7. i dont think im going to ever sell this thing. When i upgrade eventually, ill keep the 7.

2002 ZX7R . sold!!!!

I want My 7r BACK!!!!!!! Grrrrrr

personaly i love its looks, looks like proper race bike, very tough and still looks modern IMO, they have a strong engine, instant power, u dont have to over rev it to get it going, overtaking is just a twist of the wrist, dont need to gear down, very good brakes, the handling is awesome, definately its biggest strength, the front end is very stable, through the twisties its very hard to beat, they are almost the perfect road bike, ive had a r1 and would take a 7r any day over it,was looking at a 98 zx9r they are good bikes too very fast, but i prefered the 7r seating position, more sporty, felt like a sportsbike, zx9r felt more sports touring, nothing wrong with them, and as for zx10rs, theyre awesome but i dont need to going 200kmh everytime i go for a ride :D theyre just too crazy for me, i love the zx7r, just ask anyone who has owned one before, you really get attached to them, just my 2c :kuda: oh and seeing yanagawa gobert cragill ripping it up on 7rs got it going for me too :D

Umm, sorry mate, but I think you mean Superbike ;)

I love the bikes because they are a true superbike, from the era of SBK I loved the most. While they are a big, heavy bike, that is actually one thing I really like about them. I sit on all these new compact bikes and for the most part I don't like them. The looks of the 7R are awesome, have a pretty mean look about them. They're not overly powerful, but with the right funds they can be. They are a very stable bike too. Basically I fell in love with them watching the Go-Show @ Phillip Island in '96 :kuda:

I've considered a 9R and a Crim, the only 2 bikes that could make me move away from the 7R, but I just can't part with them.

If I had the money, I've always wanted to put a worked 9R motor in my 7R :kuda:
