I used to own a float, biggest I drove was a CAT D11 fully dressed. Now I drive a cummins every day....... Biggest heap of shit I ever bought..........

Like the CAT..... Love the euro. VOLVO Best ever......... They rarely let you down, but very expensive if they do...........

What do you drive and which engine is in it??? I would think that the new Signature is better than the Cat C15 at the moment. The C 15 does not even meet the new emmissions that is why they are pulling out of automotive engines. The Excert did not meet their expectations.

At the moment, I got a shitty little ISC in an Iveco agitator :x

Here's a pic of the old rig carting a new boom arm off a Hitatchi 850 tonne excavator....... FH16... 580hp.. 110 tonne rated.... 8)

p.s. sorry Pete about the hijack.... you know how it is with boys and their toys........ mine bigger than yours......... :lol: :lol:

If your ISC has the caps fuel system then I would agree with you. The common rail is a far better engine.

I havn't got one of this exact machine but here's a similar 800 tonner :shock: ... Note the person standing alongside the track. :shock:

I picked up the Boom Arm from Brisbane Wharf last year along with about 8 - 10 other low loaders carting various bits. We took it all to a mine at Gunnedah NSW, where it was to be assembled and put into digging some serious holes.......... :lol:

of course you have to become a good operator of these things and then to watch them altering the landscape , minig etc..at least for me it's a great enjoyment to watch.

On the other hand , hand me the keys of one of these and I'll look like a meachanical Steady Eddy .. :shock:
