Kelens Kawasaki {Neville}

Postby gpxpunk » Wed May 06, 2009 6:51 pm

Thought about it today at work and had to mention the awesome service i have recieved and get from Kelens {neville} kawasaki in Penrith and had to let people know. I dont know if they are a sponsor or not but they should be haha, Anytime i need something or have any questions they are always there with a smile and happy to help.

Last night after work i went down to pick up my clutch lever and gear changer {the foot one, dont know the proper name}, anyways got home and started put everything togehter when i realised i had the wrong clutch lever. So i rang kelens up and told them my delemer. Mind you this was at 5:25pm and they close at 5:30pm, so neville told me to come down and get it replaced, so they {neville, his wife and the older gentleman} kept the store open for me and waited for me to get down there, which was bad since traffic was at its peak at that time. Fianlly arrived and there was the doors open with there usual happy smile and replaced the lever for me. Not to mention the fact that they refunded me $10 coz the new lever was cheaper.

Sorry for the thread but had to let people know how good kelens are. And the fact that the flyer is still on there monitors and ksrc stickers are on the bench. Perfect service Neville.

+1 punk .... the "older" gent is Len - the lady is his wife Christine, and Neville is Chris's brother. ;)
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..

Punk - This is the type of service that results in returned customers. If all dealers were the same life would be a lot easier for us AND THEM. It's so much easier to do the right thing up front then have to go through a hassle to get what they should have offered.
Wish I could say the same. I even downloaded a parts catalogue so I could take that with me for GPX750 parts as they don't have one... :(

Hey gpxpunk I agree totally with you regarding Kelens. Bought my ZZR1100 of them in 2003 and couldn't ride two bikes home. So Len rode it to my place after work in the dark and got his misses to pick him up on her way home..................... Top people and top service.

unfortunately some motorcycle stores arent like this  i mean in this economic downturn you would think they would at least try to sell you stuff. I go in and order boots, easy $400, yep, cool, they will be in in 2 weeks. They never came..... talk about trying to 1) not make money and 2) piss off your customers so they take thier business elsewhere.

Glad to here there are still places that actually care. :D
Let the good times roll.

yeah i went into a fairly popular motorcycle store today to get a tyre put on a wheel.

not 1 customer in the shop.

a couple of blokes plodding away in the workshop.

asked to get tyre done and was replied with "you gunna come back tomorrow to pick it up?"

"nah i'll wait, can you do it now?"

"nah we're busy with pre booked work, leeave it with us might be ready by 5pm"

so i told em not to worry and walked out.

on the phone the day before they said just bring it down and they'd do it.

so i went up the street to ALL FIXED automotive, and even though he had things going on, chucked it straight on, no worries :kuda:

Punk.

You should have told Nev that you live in Werrington Downs He might have dropped it off on his way home. That would have saved you time going back and him time waiting. He used to live in Werrington County and I think he still does.
Might be worth saving in the memory if needed. :kuda: :kuda:
Len, Chris and Nev are great people but then again they are tigers fans after all. :kuda: :kuda:
Remember, half the people you know are below average.
