Hello!

Postby Ultramarine » Mon Apr 13, 2009 12:59 pm

Hey all. I'm a new rider who got his licence maybe a month ago and bought his first bike. I've had an interest in motorcycles for some time but have never been in a position to buy one and learn to ride. So with no riding experience and no know-how about motorcycles I took the plunge and did the learner course, purchased my first bike and am learning the craft. It's more fun than I could have imagined, I'm hooked already.

I was referred to this site by Benno. I've had the (mis)fortune of knowing him for a few years! Please don't hold this against me :P

I ride a '94 ZZR250 and am learning how to look after it and maintain it as I go. It's a fun bike and I'm very happy with it.

Personally I live in Liverpool and work in the local constabulary. I'm just a general duties grunt at the moment but have a good knowledge of the traffic side of things so if you have any questions relating to that please ask. If I don't know myself I can find out from reliable sources. I'd also be interested in going on some rides with people if there are any around my area.

Welcome ultramarine

I too am a recent convert to the green side and the joy of riding. We in the bush don't get many chances to mix with you guys in the big smoke so enjoy. Was in Sydney over the weekend in the car and envied those riding.
