Has Casey started bringing home every disease known the child kind from daycare yet, or are you delaying it until school like we managed to do? I don't think I've been as sick for so long with such a vareity of things as when my daughter started school  Either way your immune system will be in for a good workout

Anyway, obviously it's your choice if you get the flu vaccine or not, but remember that kids are at risk if they catch the flu...and you'll never hear the end of it if you're the one that gave it to them.

Theatre.. didn't think of that. Good one. I'll add it to my routine. :)

Well, I barely get sick, and when I do it's only for a day or two. Sal gets sick even less. As a result, Casey has had a sniffly nose a couple of times and a bit of a fever on occassion, but it normally only lasts a day or so. I think Sal is getting the flu vac, and if there's a kids one, I assume he'll be getting it. She doesn't give a hoot if I get sick because I didn't get it.

and are we not waiting for the full pandemic when avion (smitty..spell check please) )flu finally mutates to become a readily aerosole spreadable human morbid contagent.............................  will your yearly flu shot be keeeping abreast with its development or not??? or will those naturally exposed develop a better resistance ...or will flu be like hiv and though having disastrous effects on many communities and lifestyles eventually though not cured restrained as drugs are developed to combat its symptoms and development while they search for a cure

or is that what a flu shot is .............don't get them

and as for younguns at school...mate all those chidhood diseases you may or may not have contracted you are about to get to see up close and posibly share at a mature age ...watch out for chicken pox its bloody nasty and yes you can catch even if you've had it before....laid me flat and i mean flat for two weeks

dont forget the odd lice attack or ten.. although boys cop it less seems they're not as groomingly tactile as the girls

missus gets it for free from her employer as she deals with the general public continually and im sure would come in contact with a sick person periodically. The only way it'd be any worse is when kids come on the scene! It's around that point that i'll seriously start considering getting the shot meself.
