I used to SK8. Up until I was about 25 it was the absolute way of living. Too bad we never had a vid, or u tube to strut our stuff. Punk scene and skating + beer + associated establishments made life worth living back when I was an angst ridden youf!
Thanks for that Rob took me back.
On high rotation in the work van is the One Inch Punch / Mid Youth crisis discography discs. Not quite as polished as A7X but the most defining and seminal band out of Melbourne. Never missed a gig. They certainly helped guide my misguided youth. Most powerful pub band I have ever witnessed.

Oooooh. went to post and got beaten to it. :arrowu:
Dont believe they don't think the same about you. Don't knock it till you have tried it. Respect to other adrenalin fiends.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

On the note of helmets....... so its not cool to wear one, but seriously if you are going to attempt stuff like that you would be crazy not to wear one, at least 3/4 of those stacks their head makes contact with the concrete, thats just plain crazy :?

Christ on a bike!
It is damn near impossible now for me to post a reply to any post without pissing someone off.
Am I realy that contentious or do I have to tell every newbie to FUCK OFF?
Had enough of mother state, worksafe, make sure you wear clean undies and dont forget your helmet do gooders. So to you Devo, SUCK MY BALLS!
To everyone else. Do whatever the fuck you want.
Fuck you all. I'm on time out again.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

Mate what makes you think you pissed me off ???? As for sucking your balls , well it was such a nice invite but as a contortionist you may try that yourself.
A newbie I may well be, and being told to fuck off (which is I may add a pretty harsh comeback which I am sure involved an awful lot of thought to come up with ) is quite an honour I thankyou so much ;)
So I guess we will see you when your timeout finishes then shall we. ;)
No you never pissed me off . Got a thicker skin than that my friend just saw how many head injuries there were in that clip but hey just an observation . Have as much fun as you all like just be sane enough to walk away from it .
Some people never get the chance.

I have to say I didn't either, but wtf would I know?

All I can say is thank Darwin some of those guys won't live to reproduce, not that they'd be able to work out what end of a girl is which after whacking their head on concrete from 10' up.

Mick

I knew a few guys that skated, me i was never coordinated enough to do it and gave it up after a couple of good stacks early on in the price. But seriously some of those stacks are pretty nasty, and if they can (relatively) walk away from them and have another go at it once they've healed up, good on them.

But to be honest i couldnt handle watching it with the speakers turned on, and i got a minute twelve into it before i thought "fuck i can't watch this anymore".

If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.
