Exomesh / rack bag

Postby waynemorgan » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:22 pm

Hi everyone,

After looking around for a safe way to leave my rack bag (RJays expandable rack bag) on the bike when seeing clients etc and found Pacsafe Exomesh 120 (http://www.exomesh.com). Bought it off eBay last week for $60 and it arrived today.

Put it on over the bag while it was on the rack, looped the steel cables around the rack and pillion grab rail and locked it up - looks secure and can't be removed from the rack. Not sure how it would fare against some wire cutters but it's stainless steel wire so it should take some cutting.

I'll be using it this week when I get out for a few rides.

Cheers,
Wayne :D

I just use a long shackle padlock :)

I used a pacsafe on my backpack when I was travelling at it worked quite well. I think these are a good idea if you're forced to leave your rack bag on your bike.
