Nah I don't like pink bike gear at all... :D

For me first of all I'm looking for good quality and good protection - then it also has to fit well and be comfortable, I also have to like the look of it and it has to not make me look like a pudding.

I haven't been into the shops looking for gear for quite a while... I guess the biggest problem is that us girls are all different shapes, not just different sizes (hey Cath ;) )

Personally I like pink and sparkly - not so keen on flowers but hey I'd live with them if the gear fit well :) I really like some of the women's Icon range... pity their leather pants don't have knee armour

The wife's jacket has an adjustable bit at the bottom, for those who are built for more comfort than speed...

You should stop wearing Monica's clothes, quite frankly its embarrassing walking down Oxford St with you......

Unisex adjustable bike gear- now that's the solution to the problem!

(Does your interchangable gear have flowers and pink bits Dave?? 8) )

Definately jackets with Boobage would be a bonus and hard armour.. so much of the girlie stuff has soft armour.:( If I manage to get a jacket with boobage allowance they tend to be the shorter types.. that give you bitch burn. I like the jackets that have the scoop bit at the back.. so you dont flash ya bits to the world. Okay on a 21 yr old, but on this nanna.. plain nasty!!

The ladies bike jeans for me tend to be very high waisted - so I wear mens cargo's.

leather pants, the only ones I found with thigh-age was the teknic's..they got squoodgy bits down the outside of the thighs (like some leathers have on the waist).. which allows those with sqoodgy bits to well squoodge when on the bike and be comfy.

I've actually got 5 jackets, one i never wear, one I only wear on hot sumer days, one on cold days, and the other two are leather, one is a boys one that's part of my suit

One actually has pink on it.. not by choice, it just fitted nicely
2 are completely black
one is browny/black
one is black/cream

oh oh oh one more!

Would it KILL leathers manufacturer's to line those fuckers with cotton? trying to peel out of snug leather pants after sweating on the bike for 2 hours straight when you're desperate for a piss at the servo is an all too regular HELL  J.

Skins as in the body suits for exercising? They're expensive... I thought about getting those one-piece long sleeved long legged jobbies but the cost (close to 150 quid) put me off, then I realised that if I wore them touring I'd have serious dramas stripping off at servos, especially if it was v.cold or v.hot.

Reckon lining the pants and jackets properly with an appropriate fabric is the best solution, extra clothes under gear is a distant second. I really resent paying $2000 for a purpose-built italian suit that isn't quite right, ya know? J.
