Stoppies on a 1995 ZX9R...

Postby Flakey » Sat May 01, 2004 12:34 pm

Following a mate - he stops at a set lights.

So... Me being clever, thought it would be REALLY cool to stoppie right next to him... :)

I come flyin up from behind, apply the brakes, lean forward... Schweet... :P

I stopped just before the line, rear wheel same height as his head... :P - I'M A PHARKIN LEGEND!...

Now the word to look for in this story is 'stopped'... I found this is a 'bad' way to end a stoppie... cause you loose sideways balance...

The rear came down on an angle and when it landed, I couldn't hold the bike up...D'oh!... So i had to put it down on the road (with everyone at lights watching  ) and my mate too busy laughing to help pic it up. :x

Oh well...

small scratches on the left side fairing...

Did more damage to it when I dropped it riding across another mates lawn... :)

Neva fixed it, cause some mofo pinched it while I was at work.

Thats why I've got an '01 now... :D

Odd, thought it would have been a common term.

Surely it's not just SA and WA?

mina. i say again. u r a tool. (sometimes)

ever seen jerry mcguire?
remember when the little kid sees his dad score a TD and shouts out "thats my mofo!" then his mum kicks his arse.
didn't u wonder then what it meant??
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
