Anyone tested how far you can get after the low fuel warning comes on.

If its the same as the Er-6 - just press Mode button - cancels blinking "FUEL" warning & reverts to odometer. It will go back to "FUEL" after a few km.

When your light comes on, fill it up and see how much was left in the tank..based on 12-13k's a litre economy, work out how much further you can go on what you have left when the light comes on..

On the 12 I get 12.63 K's on a litre..you should get more by a little..My fuel light comes on when Ive spent 15 litres, meaning I have 4 litres left and I can get 50.52k's max with the light flashing..which I have done once !!

When is the light supposed to start flashing? My fuel light comes on steady when I have 4.5L left - I did about 50km around town like that, the light never started flashing (though I was watching for it) and then I put 17.71L in my 18L tank.

Depends on your display, Mel - on the ER-6 the orange fuel light comes on with 3.5 litres left in the tank & the LCD flashes " FUEL ". You can override the flashing " FUEL " display by pressing the Mode button. It goes back to the km display for several k's then flashes " FUEL " again. The orange fuel light stays on.

Thankyou, I didn't know that :)

Mel, it's a different setup to the 03 x6, with our display the word fuel flashes over the odometer it doesn't have a light. I never saw the fuel light actually flash on my zx6 either :)
