thanks marty for the offer and thanks other guys for the support, my dad has been doing this for years and i just found out last week what he really did for living, he's got a factory just for it....shame on me

so here it is i saw some samples from my dad and he sells it locally in asia countries and he received his first order from melbourne and he reckoned it must be do-able.

so i'm interested......i'm doing more market research than anything else....plus nicole is in logistics so she'll help out big time with the importing, regulation and legal stuff, plus i could even use them or her ex work place for warehousing and distrubtion.

i need to focus on how to sell this stuff in aus or melbourne to start with.....what sorta ppl i need to approach, should i get them in before i start selling them or should i pre-sell them or should i do JIT....

OK HP, I'm not a naysayer, and I'm not generally a grammar Nazi .... but, you need advice, not "advise", and if you're going to run your own company my first bit of advice would be "now is as good a time as any to get your spelling and grammar in order" :).

In all seriousness, complete a detailed business plan and determine based on that the likelihood of success and the things you'll need to do to succeed. Good luck!

Good ADVICE Dave, the more time you spend with your business plan the less you're relying on luck..... which means effectively that you can get it to the stage where luck has nothing to do with it :D :D :D :D

Cool mate! 8) I do however, as I am sure you would, not enjoy people casting dispersions on my character or intestinal fortitude. If it had been a piss take, I woulda done what we all do and come back with a witty quip! ;) As it was interpreted as something other than a pisstake, I responded accordingly! I hope my response didn't cause you any either mate. :)

I must have been really really lucky with my business' Rossi, as ALL of them made money from day one! ;)

Nah, If I had only had 6 bikes in 10 years, I think I'd have to kill myself!!! Mate, I think I have had more than 6 bikes in the last 3 years...let alone 10!! But that's not cause I can't stick anyything out! It's cause I am a bike slut!
