well I was initially talking about the z750 and it's nut crushing but given that until I bought the 9 less than a month ago I was on a ZZR600 then I guess it's in relation to the sports tourer more so than the super sports, found it less of a prob on the 9 incidentally.

Re getting seat padded, pm Kaz can't remember her nick but pm z900/zx9 her partner and get him to ask Kaz, she had her seat sculpted so I daresay the same mob that took padding out can put more in..

GlenB,

My three bikes have been a GPX250 (04), ZZR600 (05)and a Z750 (07). I have not had a nut crushing experience, except for my own mismanagement :)
Do yourself a favour and test ride one.......if you don't like it ...meh!!

But i think you will love it, i agree re the 07 model and too much black on the 08...WTF are Kawasaki thinking....they are trying to make all their bikes look badass, which will lose 50% of the market

Yep, definitely test ride...

the Z1 (apart from having quite a hard seat) is the most comfortable bike ergos' i've ever been on...

Felt at ease instantly, fantastic bike

i'd highly recommend, the thou or 750..

i'm sure glad i'll stuck with Kawa, instead of going the SV thou!  :D :D :D :D :D
