Hi from a Triumph Rider

Postby bradk » Sun Dec 09, 2007 6:51 pm

Hi from a Newbie.

I have a Triumph Sprint which I purchased from Peter Stevens Ringwood on the 13/10/2007 ( Glad it wasn't a Friday). I have had my license for 30 years but havn't ridden for around 25, so am getting back into it. Mid life crisis?, hell I've had 7 of these so maybe its just something I want to do. Photomike and Strika introduced me to this forum who I rode with today for which I thank them. As I am new, am keen to learn as much as possible to reduce the odds.

So far I am hooked and love getting out and riding, mid week mainly as am happily semi retired. I intend to do some touring with my other half and get away for weekends etc. and enjoy life.

Hey Brad, glad you found the site!! It was good to meet you today and great to have you along for the ride. If it's touring you want to do, then keep your eye's peeled next year for some of my ride posts. I tend to get out a bit. WHen I am home in Melbourne, it's most sundays and the odd mid weeker when possible. I also get away for longer trips. Anywhere from a few days and a couple of thousand k's to three weeks and 10,000k's!! :D

Welcome Brad - some tips 1. Don't introduce/post pics of your other half ( Neka Warning )
2. Trade Triumph for a Kwaka

Other than that enjoy the site - were not all crazy - "are we Nurse Ratchett?"
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..

Just like rdiing a bike ya reckon? :) Welcome to the site, we are obviously by and large a Kwaka site but we have other riders here, heck we even have a few Honda riders we still let hang around so don't feel too out of place :)

Thanks for all your welcomes everyone. Was a bit puzzled by the NEKA warning at first but after browsing the site and especially after reading Possums post now understand it. This is a great forum and yes I like boobs too.

So far, you are exhibiting two signs of a good KSRC'en!
1.A passion for BIKES.
2.A passion for BOOBS. (Insert BALLS if that is your preference  )

I guess all we need to really make sure that you are a perfect fit in here is to ensure you
A.Love BOOZE
and
B. Have no BRAINS!
