If a helmet does not display the Aust Standards sticker it is deemed that the rider is not wearing a helmet and will there fore be fined accordingly. Yes the helemt is made to the same standards but with out the sticker you are breaking the law.
This also means you are unable to use the helmet at track days or for racing. I am not saying that this is policed but Murphey's law states that if you pay for a ride day or rider training and turn up with the helmet you will be the only one checked and not be able to participate in the day.
