Aftermarket Front Discs?

Postby Benno » Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:41 pm

Hey guys,

Anyone know of any place in Melb that sells aftermarket front discs? We need some for my uncles 1996 ZX6 and we REALLY don't wanna spend the money on new ones from kwaka. Anyone know of any decent places?

Those local ones that Dundee uses could be the go - you could also check the EBC website for a local distibutor, they do replacement discs for a large range of bikes. Galfer are another brand (Mat Mladin Imports), google search is your friend !!

Thanks Mick, turned out to be exactly what we were after!

I searched google Gos, however I'd rather deal with places that have looked after our members previously!

Sounds about right given there is 2 discs, my rear was $228 installed (from memory) with new pads. Just before the Gp, riding along, apply rear brake, sound of metal on metal, humm that's probably not ideal.. pads were changed not that long ago so was obviously time to bite the bullet and get the new rear disc that was undersize when I binned hte bike some 2 years ago :D

i got a set of braking wave rotors for abt $700 (3 disc) ...OEM woulda been abt the same.... they were awesome tho, really good...

if ur carriers are ok, or u can find sum ok carriers, awesome discs will re-do them... thats suppose to be cheap...
