Fairing Crack Repair - Newcastle/Central Coast

Postby penno » Sun Nov 11, 2007 8:14 pm

I need to get a couple of cracks in my fairings repaired.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Newcastle/Central Coast area that I can use.

Thanks.

is it split through or just a crack? if its a crack you might be able to just plastex it up on the inside :)

Plastexing it may be sufficient, but it does require the surface to be sanded back at the edges to provide a solid repair.

handy hint from someone who tried todo it the lazy way, don't! Just take the bloody fairings off and do it that way. At least yours werent totally split through like mine were...
