zx6r delivery date

Postby Aussie Ninja » Sat Dec 18, 2004 8:18 pm

I walked into the dealership today, actually I was still in the yard, and the salesman said "be on the floor this thursday" such is the amount of pestering I have been inflicting upon him. I'm on holidays so mabye I'll camp out on wednesday night. Not that I can afford one, but I'm hanging out to see and touch one in the metal. :P

Bah, Im not at all excited about any new bikes until a new ZX7R comes out, theres a rumor that there will be one for 2006 which considering the increasing popularity of the GSXR750 is not unlikely.

yeah, suzuki is loving the 750 class (no real opponents?), great capacity as well... ppl can upgrade from a 6, but not JUMP all the way to the thou.
oh, about the 6r.... hope it'll be here this week as well then! I am excited to see it in the "metal" as well!!!

After seeing the 05 zx6r @ the GC Bike Show last month i thought it looked much better in the flesh than in the pics. I'll have to get down to the local dealer and see what a green one looks like as they only had the red one @ the show.

Spekt-r where did you hear the rumour about a possible new zx7r. I think if that came true it would be pretty cool. 8)

Yeah bloody oath it'd be cool!

I'd most definately have to consider it instead of a ZX10R for my next bike...........4+ years down the line.

But shit yeah, a new 7R would rock!

cant see the point of a 750 :? , the 6's are'nt exactly slow, maybe they should build a 8 aswell  , slowly make your way up.

Gotta agree with ya Glenn... In the flesh it looks much better... Not a fan of the Red (as ironic as that sounds) but the bike was very tidy.

Congrats Booze, see if they will scrub the tyres for you mate, get em to spin them in the wheel balancer n hit em with a dye grinder, could save you a drama or three.

they are already here in Melbourne!
I sat on an 05 6R in Brighton kwaka today
(they have a couple of 'em)
has pride of place in the middle of the showroom
very nice blue....
but shitty plastic cover over front of tank
an oh so long rear fender extension...about 2ft too long
(where is the hacksaw..!)
and after seeing it in the flesh
an underseat zorst...which does nuthing for me...
but as an overall package
very sweet......

and the best....
a bloke walked in today to BKwaka
saw an 05 Zx10r..in titanium/alloy silver colour
paid cash..is riding it home tonite
what a Chrissy present..to ones self!

cheers
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!
