ZX12R Rear spring seat.

Question.....

I have a 2006 Zx12R. On the rear suspension, shouldn't there be a washer or spring seat between the top of the spring & the preload adjusting nut?
There was one on my 98' ZX6R.

The thin black ones I take it? Umm.. you know, I can't say off the top of my head whether it is there on the 12 or not; but suffice as to add that some do and some don't... I would have some lying about here for certain from other stripped down KYB shocks; but is it worth the effort to remove it for just that? (better off getting a Torrington in there in any case...)
