No indication that EC would even be in the running........the replacement track for Oran Park is *allegedly* going to be built to a GP standard......and should be up and running by 2011 - the same year that the PI contract expires........

If it goes to EC it will die a death, no good viewing, no atmosphere, the replacement for OP then there is a better thought, further out of the metropolis to allow some serious PI type fun, if it ever happens  :?

Have it at wakefield Park. Every one can see every corner. The small track would make things very interesting. The 125's might even set the lap record.
It 's out side of Sydney and not that far ffrom some good rides.
It would make every one happy ( except for the racers).

And..............who wants to stay at Rooty Hill for the weekend? Give me the Island anyday. Wakefield would just be a procession very limited overtaking places. Remember what happened last time the superbikes ran there? Too short anyhow. Goulburn is a cold hole at the best of times and no penguins....

As said before the tennis can be lobbed over the net, it's not that important. But I really don't think Sydney should get everything, that's just farking greedy,

Keep the Supers at P.I., have GP somewhere far warmer and we can go be hoons in someone else back yard for a change.

The BMX world better watch out too, the 2009 world championships are being held in SA (not the me and the kids are trying to qualify - honest).
