Scala Rider Blackberry Headset

Postby Megs » Tue Apr 24, 2007 10:12 pm

Hiya all
I am considering the Scala Rider Headset for my boyfriends birthday. I was wondering if anyone has used one, or a similar item and what they thought of it?
You can see a review of it here: http://www.scootersales.com.au/News-481 ... oduct.aspx

Or buy it here: http://www.blackberrydownunder.com.au

What do you reckon? Good birthday present or crappy one?

I've not used one of these headsets, so not really able to offer any opinions on how good it is, or isn't......

Hope he likes the present anyway..

Let us know how it goes, I'd be interested to hear how good it is... :)

mick loved his head set when I gave it to him, though unfortunately he cant hear anything when he is riding. He is going to see if he can get ear pieces for it.

Who wants to talk while riding anyways, i hate the phone! If i get a call there is voice mail, or if it's in the tank bag and i see the person calling i hit the answer and then give it a rev. Normaly it's the missus asking if i'm on the way, a rev normaly answers that question without saying a word.

when i rode over to the WSBK i had the phone (MP3 player) set up with music going, and i got a call from work whilst riding..ussually i wouldnt have the handsfree in , so i wouldnt of answered, but neway i answer the phone and have a chat , while at a red light...one of the girls from work asks "what all the noise" ...i said "shit, its about to get interesting now..the lights gone green"...with that she hang up as apparently a cbr929 at 11,000rpm on the freeway is deafening...lol

I've had one of these for about 6 months now - love it.

Wouldn't have paid $200 for it tho - I got mine from eBay for $76 delivered. Paid for itself within the first day of use.

Clear as a bell for me & for my callers (can verify up to 120Km/h)
Ain't nuthin to see here..... move along
