ebay and paypal suck i had someone buy an ipod off me with a dodgy credit card and now paypal took the $160 out of my account even though I sent them a copy of the signiture which i had to get from apple. so apple gets a confirmation sig, paypal accepts the credit card in the first place and now im the one shafted - not happy!

yes the feedback is not good at all.... the worst thing, is the bad feedback started around 1 week after i placed my order... but then started to get better...

The just sucks, and eBay does farking diddly squat and has some micro-farking-scopic limit to how much they will reimburse you.

I am just coming off the same experience with a woman called Kristy Milloy in Sydney (from Bexley or Botany if anyone knows her) who sold about a dozen 60Gb and 80Gb iPods, and assorted Navman units in early March.

She had 100% Feedback. Supposedly her mum passed away, now she's reneged on the whole lot, doesn't respond to email, cleared her store out, home phone has been disconnected. I'm guessing the bitch has done a runner, alas she owes me $380 .

I can think of other ways of recouping $380 if I ever catch up with her...

Thats really poor form, and reinforces why *Feedback* is so important when buying anything off ebay....

Anything under 98% should be avoided I reckon, sometimes I have bought stuff of sellers with only 95% feedback, that is as low as I would go. And these purchases have all been <$100 anyway...

If the price is "too good to be true", thats because it is. Avoid prices that are way under anything else, because it will probably be nothing more than a scam........

I *cannnot* recommend JC Motors enough for anyone thinking of buying an exhaust, either slip-on or full system. They may be slow with e-mails, but their delivery is *First Class*.......

Make sure you get a paypal claim in, you do it through the item in my ebay. I got $25 bucks back or an SD card that never arrived from the states. You only have 40 days or something like that..

mate that just sucks arse big time. Keep the pressure on PayPal, they are meant to be able to deal with this type of thing. Its a shame all the negative feedback didn't start appearing until you had sent your money.......
