A man was arrested and had his car impounded after clocking over 152km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The already suspended 22-year-old driver from Yarraville was arrested for a series of outstanding driving offences after he was caught driving at 152km/h by a Traffic Task Unit at around 8pm last night on Western Ring Road.
In the last 12 months, the man had accumulated 37 demerit points and had his licence suspended.

The man had his Ford sedan impounded for 48 hours under new "anti-hoon" legislation, though if he had been charged under the previous legislation it would have been longer.
