Plas was trying to get his front off tonight.... doesnt have a 22mm hex...
tried all the suggestions in here..still no luck...
think he's going for a drive 2moro...

Guess I'm going to have to buy a 22mm inhex socket then, still got a couple of trackdays left out of the front tyre, so that'll give me a couple of weeks to get off my arse to order one.

Hi People,
You can use a normal tube spanner,
just take a measuring stick with you to the tool shop.
I bought a 17 x 19 mm "bocker" brand for $15
The outside of the 17 mm end fits inside the axle then find one of those odd imp or metric sockets you have in the toolbox that fits the other end of the tube spanner..bingo.
Other bonus is the tube spanner has holes into which a regular allen key can be inserted allowing you to tighten them using a torque wrench.

i use the small one (17mm i think) and leave the hex bolts in possy as mentioned earlier - never had a problem......and with 117K on the bike its been off a couple of times
