It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

He does live in the now Glen...........it's just he rides in the past!!!!!

Glen, like most heavy vehicles...the 12 needs bucket loads of torque to get it moving!!! That's why with a Jockey weight Strika onboard, the GTR should hose Hoffy's 12!!!

How are those odds looking? I reckon we should appoint stace as team SP Bookie for the Hoffy Hi-Vis Vest Challenge!

Just so everyone knows...he was just on the phone to me telling me that it would be fairer if i had my left hand cable tied to the pannier!! Fargin hide you have asking me to back out! Never! And as I said on the phone, I'm gunna mount the video camera backwards on the top box so I can replay actual video footage of the GTR pulling away from you IN THE CORNERS!!!

Maybe MickC or Glen could lend you their 10 for the challenge! Just to make it fair for ya! Oh. and I'll not go past third gear then!

Well, as per the new ride thread.......I ended up with a beemer rather than the prefered kawasaki GTR! Not a preference thing, just a value proposition placed me in a too good to refuse position!

So I called Hoffy to share the joy of the new purchase, and apart from him telling lies (I'm doing the dishes, I have been working from home all day!!! ) he also spat the dummy about the Hoffy Hi-Vis Vest Challenge.

Hoffy seems to think that the Beemer has given me an unfair advantage?????? How a 250kg, 80 hp shaft driven, pannier equipped horizontally opposed flat twin could be considered and unfair advantage is beyond me???? However that is what the big fella thinks!

I promised to turn off the ABS, and leave the panniers and top box on it.....but he still feels worried that the bride is going to make "L" signs on her forhead at him as we pull away!
