Back from the (almost) dead

Postby zx7 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 8:49 pm

Hi all

I haven't been able to visit the site the past couple of months as a result of a pretty bad accident in the snowy mountains the day before new years eve. Now I'm without my road bike although I still have the track bike. Might be a few more months before I am able to ride (hic!). I've posted some photos of my poor baby.

Cheers

re the swan dive

Postby zx7 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 8:58 pm

I don't remember anything from that day as the docs put me in a coma which I came out of 3 days later. Looks like there may have been at least one car on the wrong side of the road as my mate behind had to swerve to miss the second car. Needless to say nether car stopped.

Well if nothing else it just goes to prove you CAN bend the front end of a 7.
I never would have believed it if I hadnt seen the pics but did you have to go to such an extreme ??
Seriously mate heal quickly and dont listen to the physios, they give up too easily.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
